We are currently pretty backed up, sorry about the delay in getting your pictures up! However, I might have some free time this week and we just got a new staff member, so hopefully we can get things going again soon.

I chose it because it was a great scene with multiple characters and a complete background. Your art will be featured for one month and as first prize you will get gift art drawn by me (~ryoshockwave), if you want it :3

News:

The club has been on the slow side, lately. Sorry if your submissions have been taking a while to appear in the club. We could probably still use another staff member or two, anyone who can follow directions and type proper English, who has a few extra hours to spare every now and then.

About the contest [link] well as you can see the paid account ran out on here, so I'm not sure if I will be trying to get it back before the time comes to vote, or if I'll skip that part and decide the winner myself. As far as a prize goes, I really have no idea what I'll offer this time, besides the winner being featured for a month.

(Btw, if anyone wants to donate a subscription to this club we will put your icon in our journal for the rest of this club's days, which will hopefully be a long time).

Also, because I'm not always around anymore to check how things are going, if you see any mistakes or if anything is unsatisfactory please note me over at ~ryoshockwave where I'll be more guaranteed to see it.

Second Contest!~
The theme will be: Winter. Snow and snowmen, Christmas and Hanukkah, sledding and ice skating~ So mainly things to enjoy about winter, and even more fun things for artists to enjoy drawing. If you draw any winter-related art, feel free to enter it into this contest.

Of course, the piece must feature a kemonomimi as the central character. (And no, it doesn't have to be a reindeer, be creative!)

Contest starts: Dec 02 (today)

Contest Ends: Not sure on the official end date yet, probably sometime in mid Janurary.

Please send all submissions by note with the title "contest entry"

How will the winners be decided?:
We will be having a vote to decide the winners when the time comes. To help prevent against cheating, I will only allow members/watchers to vote this time.

Prizes: Will be officially announced later, but the winner's art will be our club's featured deviation for a month. Other prizes may include free art by any volunteers. (Feel free to volunteer if you want to draw art for the winner).

Just to clarify: You can submit old works or works that you are entering into another club (as long as it's okay in the other club's rules), as long as it's Winter/X-mas and kemonomimi, it's all good.

News:

First of all, special thanks to who has been doing a great job updating the club in my absence this month. Since I will continue to be sidetracked with life, I will be making a few changes to make this club run easier.

First change, a very important one, notes are no longer required to join. I realized that making people send notes just takes even more unnecessary time. If you wish to join the club, simply +watch us and start submitting work at any time.
And +watches are always welcome, even to those who don't plan to submit art.

A change on work submissions: now you may only submit 3 at a time, instead of 5. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also, no more than one note per day. The submissions seem to build up quicker these days, hopefully lowering this rate will fix the problem.

Also, from now on I'm not allowing wings to substitute for animal ears. The character must have animal ears, the only acception to this is if they have a tail (like a saiyan or something). Bottom line: The character must have animal ears or a tail to pass.

Last change: no more member list. Sorry, but it's a pain to update. From now on the list of watchers is the member list, as everyone who watches this club is automatically a member.

To all staff: From now on, whoever uploads a submission in the club must put "Uploaded by : devusername: at the bottom of the comment. I need to know who, besides me, uploads around here. I've seen some people making big mistakes on the uploads as well.

Another reason for this, is if anyone does not contribute to this club within the next 30 days they will be removed from the club's staff and made a regular member.

Any current staff member that wishes to quit being part of staff may contact me at ~ryoshockwave Likewise for anyone who wishes to be part of staff, help is always appreciated.
