Rules:

Joining:

Please WATCH the club. Notes to join are no longer necessary.
Please add the club's icon/name to your journal or sig. (this is not a must, but it's a nice gesture).
To affiliate your club, send a note titled "affiliate".

Submissions:

To submit a deviation to the club please note the club with the title "submission" and include a LINK to the submission.
Please no more than THREE submissions at a time, and no more than 1 note a week.
Do NOT send notes regarding submissions to any of the mod's personal accounts.
Please no WIPs, simple sketches, drawings on lined-paper or low-quality photographs of a drawing.


What we allow:

Kemonomimi (humans with the ears, tails, feet of just about any animal), robotic or fake ears and tails.
Non-human skin color, noses and some fur is OK, but please keep the look of the head and body to be human-shaped.
Fantasy Creatures if they have animal ears and/or tails. Fauns and centaurs accepted.
Fanart or original characters.
Any style of art form is welcome!


What we do not allow:

Please no elf ears!! I will only accept elf/regular ears if the subject has a tail.
Hardcore smut or violence. If DA doesn't allow it, then neither do we.
Non-kemonomimi characters (unless as a side-character/extra).
Full-on anthropomorphic/furry (Mostly animal with human characteristics).


FAQ

Q Is _____ allowed in the club?
A Please refer to our guidelines and visual resource above, you still have any questions simply note the club or leave a comment on the visual resource deviation.

Q I have more than one account, do I have to make both accounts members to submit work from each?
A No, you can submit work from any other account that is YOURS as long as one of your accounts is a member. When submitting art please send the note using your member account, and specify that it is art work from an alternate account.
(you can only do this is the account belongs to you, if we have any doubts of ownership, we will note the account in question).

Q Do i absolutely HAVE to watch the club to be in it?
A Yes, you must friend the club, however, if the subs are piling up in your inbox, and you don't look at them anyway, then you can always turn off the "deviations" check box under the friends management section for the club. But please leave the journal box on, so you can know about updates.
(but please respect the other members by taking the time to look at their submitted work at SOME point, you lazy bum.)

QCan flash be submitted?
AYes, but obviously we will not be submitting the animation in the club, so either you can provide a preview image or we will screencap a section of the animation ourselves.

This section is for our staff if they need any help and the admin is not around to tell them what to do.

Uploading Guidelines:

Saving the Image:
Save the SMALL-VIEW image onto your computer. If the small-view image seems too make the picture look bad (it happens sometimes with large pictures) save the full-view and re-size it yourself on an image editing program. 450px wide at max.

PNGs do not save on IE, but they do on firefox. If you do not use firefox and run into this problem, either download firefox (it's better anyway), screencap it, or have someone else do it, but you MUST tell someone else about it if you don't do it yourself.

Category:
Upload images into the same category as the original version, unless you strongly feel that they mis-categorized it. Also, in cases of IDs upload them into whatever category you feel is correct.

Title:
The title of the artwork should match the title of the original picture, but it should also say "by username", if you cannot fit their username you can either:
A. Cut off the username and replace the last two letter with ".." or
B. Cut the title of the picture, if possible. For instance, if the title of the picture is "+.:Loveless - Ritsuka:.+ by ihavealongusername" you can cut off the unnecessary bits and the title can simply be "Ritsuka by ihavealongusername".
Please don't change the title for any other reason, and pay attention to case of both the title and the username.

More than 3 submissions?:
If they submit more than 3 images, upload the first 3 and send the note back explaining that the rules state you can only do 3 at a time, and to submit the rest next week.


New Members.

Notes:
We no longer require notes for joining, but they sometimes come anyway. Just remind people to +watch if they haven't yet. Remind them to read the rules and give them a welcome, too.

Remember, if you open a note with submissions in it, do not leave it without uploading the submissions.

Comments:
If someone comments asking to join please remind them to watch if they haven't yet, remind them to read the rules and welcome them.

~ryoshockwave will be the only one creating journals, but information usually applies to other mods, so please read the journal when you have time.

Maybe even take some time to search for recent kemonomimi art that has been submitted.
